How do I know if the hospitals are safe?
You should look for Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCI), which is a US based qualification. If a hospital has JCI certification, it means that their services are of the same standard as a medical institution in the US. At VacayWellness, we will only be sending you to JCI accredited medical institutions.
What does the process look like for booking a fully planned wellness experience?
First, you fill out the contact form on the VacayWellness page and our team members will reach out to you to plan your wellness experience. Then, you will finalize your itinerary and submit payment. Before your trip date, you will be sent information about required and recommended tasks to complete. These can include visa applications, flight information, submitting medical records, or simply tips on what to bring. Once you arrive at your destination, someone will be there to pick you up and take you to the hotel. Transport will be provided for all parts of your itinerary, such as activities and medical services. Once the trip is finished, you will be taken back to the airport to return home.
How long is the entire wellness experience?
The whole wellness experience will be 6 days. Two days are for travel and four days are for receiving medical services and enjoying your vacation!
How long will the medical visit take?
The medical services will be done in one day and should take 4 hours or less, depending on how many services you are receiving.
What do I need to travel to a foreign country?
You will need a passport to travel to a foreign country. Depending on your nationality, a visa may be required. Our team at VacayWellness will ensure you have the correct documentation in order to enter a foreign country.
What kind of clothes should I wear to the checkup?
Every hospital will have their own requirement which our team will communicate to you clearly. However, it will likely be comfortable, loose clothing so medical staff can provide their services.
Is the trip entirely planned?
You have the option of deciding how planned you want this trip to be. At minimum, we are planning your medical services visit and transportation to and from the hospital. If you would like activities, flights, domestic transportation and accommodation to also be arranged, you have the option to do so for each item.
How much of the foreign language do I need to know to go on this wellness experience?
We will ensure that all hospital, hotel, and activities personnel are able to speak English so that you have a comfortable experience. However, we do recommend learning basic phrases such as ‘Please’ and “Thank you” in the language of that country to leave a positive impression on the locals!
How do I know if the planned wellness experience is safe?
Everything that you will be doing on the wellness experience has been tested by our team members for safety. We have thoroughly researched each location for safe areas and ensure you will stay in those areas for a fully planned wellness experience. You have the option to be with a guide or personnel for all of your activities. General safety recommendations are advised, such as hiding valuables, not walking alone at night, etc.
How much does the wellness experience cost?
The cost is variable, largely depending on the medical package you choose and how many activities you would like to do on the wellness vacation. That’s why we prefer to give a custom quote after talking to our customers. We suggest clients to expect at least $1500 per person for a fully planned wellness experience. We also recommend that you bring spending cash. We encourage you to fill out the contact form so that one of our team members can discuss the design of your unique wellness experience with you further.
Which airline will I be flying with?
You have the choice to book your own plane tickets. However, if requested, we can book your tickets at the market price. If you have an airline preference, please let us know.
What are the payment options available for the VWell™ Trip?
Pay in full upfront:
- We accept all payment methods as listed above.
Pay in monthly plan:
- We allow customers to pay for their VacayWellness services on a monthly, interest free payment plan. Here are the following conditions for the payment plan:
- You can choose the number of payments you want to spread out your payments for.
- If you choose this option, you will only be able to reserve a trip date one month after your payment plan ends
- For example: Jenny wants to book her VWell™ Trip which will cost her $2500. She wants to pay 6 payments for this trip. Jenny will be able to reserve a trip for 7 months after the date that she begins her payment plan.
- Plan start: January: $416.66
- February: $416.66
- March: $416.66
- April: $416.66
- May: $416.66
- Payment plan finished: June: $416.66
- July: VWell™ Trip booking reservation can start from here onwards
- For example: Jenny wants to book her VWell™ Trip which will cost her $2500. She wants to pay 6 payments for this trip. Jenny will be able to reserve a trip for 7 months after the date that she begins her payment plan.
- When enrolling in the payment plan, you are required to pay the first installment of the payment upon booking.
- This option allows you to reserve a date for your VWell trip with us and still have flexibility with your payment schedule.
- Another requirement of this plan is that you must pay by ACH or bank account transfer. The free merchandise does not apply for the payment plan option.
What are the possible payment methods available for the VWell™ Trip?
- ACH Transfer or Bank Transfer
- This is our preferred method of payment. We will send some VacayWellness merchandise to all customers who use this method.
- Credit/Debit Card
- Third party payment services: Apple Pay, Venmo, Cashapp, and Paypal
What is our refund policy?
Your VWell™ Trip, excluding the flights, has this refund policy:
- 4+ weeks before trip date is 100% refundable
- 2-4 weeks before trip date is 50%
- Less than 2 weeks before trip date is non-refundable
It takes lots planning to coordinate the amazing experience you will have on your VWell trip. We have this refund policy to be mindful and respectful of all our associated partners. Please contact VacayWellness at support@vacaywellness.com if you would like to request a refund.
