You should look for Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCI) , which is a US-based qualification. If a hospital has JCI certification, it means that their services are of the same standard as a medical institution in the US. At VacayWellness, we will only be sending you to JCI accredited medical institutions.

We recommend that you purchase a high-deductible insurance plan that’s affordable monthly. This will protect you from emergency health expenses like car accidents. For preventive healthcare, you can attend a VWell™ Trip. We estimate this combination is still more cost-effective than most traditional plans and provides the added value of world travel.

Fill out the contact form on the VacayWellness page. Our team will reach out to plan your itinerary. After payment, we’ll guide you through required tasks like visa applications or submitting medical records. Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up and transported according to your itinerary, including hotel, medical visits, and activities. We’ll also get you back to the airport when the trip ends.

The whole wellness experience will be 6 days. Two days are for travel and four days are for receiving medical services and enjoying your vacation!

The medical services will be done in one day and should take approximately 4 hours, depending on how many services you are receiving.

You will need a passport to travel to a foreign country. Depending on your nationality, a visa may be required. Our team at VacayWellness will ensure you have the correct documentation in order to enter a foreign country.

Every hospital will have their own requirement which our team will communicate to you clearly. However, it will likely be comfortable, loose clothing so medical staff can provide their services.

We will ensure that all hospital, hotel, and activities personnel are able to speak English so that you have a comfortable experience. However, we do recommend learning basic phrases such as ‘Please’ and “Thank you” in the language of that country to leave a positive impression on the locals!

Everything that you will be doing on the wellness experience has been tested by our team members for safety. We have thoroughly researched each location for safe areas and ensure you will stay in those areas for a fully planned wellness experience. You have the option to be with a guide or personnel for all of your activities. General safety recommendations are advised, such as hiding valuables, not walking alone at night, etc.

The cost is variable, largely depending on the medical package you choose and how many activities you would like to do on the wellness vacation. That’s why we prefer to give a custom quote after talking to our customers. We suggest clients to expect at least $2,500 per person for a fully planned wellness experience. We also recommend that you bring spending cash. We encourage you to fill out the contact form so that one of our team members can discuss the design of your unique wellness experience with you further.

You have the choice to book your own plane tickets. However, if requested, we can book your tickets at the market price. If you have an airline preference, please let us know.

Yes, you can use your HSA/FSA to purchase portions of the VWell™ Trip that meet IRS Publication 502 guidelines. Your Medical Travel Agent can assist you with this process and will issue separate HSA and non-HSA bills accordingly for submitting a reimbursement.

1. Pay in Full:
Pay the full amount upfront using any of the accepted payment methods.
2. Monthly Payment Plan (Interest-Free):
Spread your total payment across multiple monthly installments (you choose how many).
First payment is due at the time of signing up.
Trips can only be booked for one month after the final payment is made.
Example: If you choose 6 monthly payments starting in January, your trip can be booked for July or later.
Payments must be made via ACH/bank transfer.
This option allows you to reserve a date for your VWell™ Trip with us and still have flexibility with your payment schedule!

All VWell trip offerings, excluding the flights, have this refund policy:
4+ weeks before trip: 100% refundable
2–4 weeks before: 50% refundable
Less than 2 weeks before trip date is non-refundable. However, you can rebook your trip at a later date and are responsible for paying the difference if prices change
